Ho was tamping a Horizontal boro with clay, using an iron rod, while his father, Alfred Vincent, supplied the clay, Soon after tamping began the charge exploded, blowing young Vincent and a block of stone, about a ton in weight half a chain away. One of Vincent’s legs whs shattered and the other limbs anti lied cl Were badly hurt. He was removed to the hospital. The father was cut about the scalp and face, and bruised about the limbs. Another son, who was whirled round the engine shaft at the quarry two or three weeks ago, is recovering.
