MINERS KEEN TO VOTE. Per United Press Association. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, Feb. 16, The miners’ union of Johannesburg complain that Lord Solborne’s refusal to proclaim a holiday on polling day will disfranchise mine workers, many of whom arc 40 miles from the division, wherein they are registered. They have asked Lord Elgin, Colonial Secretary, to intervene.
