UNION KICKS OVER THE TRACES, Per United Press Association. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. SYDNEY, April 26. The Arbitration Court is hearing an application to cancel the registration of tho Wharf Labourers’ Union, owing to its refusal to enrol a member. A letter was read from the Union, showing that the Executive decided to admit the member, but a meeting of the Union refused to endorse their decision. The Executive also state that tho man over whom the trouble arose went to work but the unionists engaged on the job immediately struck. . In granting a further adjournment of the case, the President ordered the emendation of the Union’s registration by striking out the clause giving preference to Unionists, holding that, by refusing to admit a memIjcr, the Union was maintaining preference under false pretences.
