The Theatre.
Tlie Holloway Dramatic Company repeated the “ Two Little Vagabonds ” in the Zealandia Hall yesterday evening, before another large audience. The acting of tho company is consistently good, the staging much in advance of what was expected by those who ure conversant with tho lack of space and facilities in the hall, and the whole presentment pleasingly satisfying, as evidenced by the lavish applause. Chief honours full to M’iss Beatrice Holloway and Miss Mabel Russell as Dick and Wally respectively, but tho whole company is well cast, and this particular play, which has for years been a public favourite, will advance in general estimation by reason of the company’s visit. TO-NIGHT. Frank Harvey’s five-act A.‘delphi drama, “ Shall ,Wc Forgive Her?” is the bill for to-night. This 1 piece deals with the adventures of Grace, tho heroine, who joins Neil Garth, a Queensland navvy, under a solemn promise of marriage, but is deserted by him, and is ultimately blackmailed by the villain after she is happily married to Oliver West, an engraver. Miss Ethel Appleton will appear a-s Grace, and Mr Godfrey Oass as Oliver, with Mr Charles Holloway as Neil Garth, and Mr W. Jefferson Taito as J antes Stapleton. Miss Beatrice Holloway has a bright character as Nellie West, Miss Alice Deorwyn will be seen as Aunt Martha and Mr Robert Inman appears as the athletic missionary, Rev. Paul Elsworth. The .season will close ■ tomorrow with Max Goldberg’s great sporting drama “ Rogues of the Turf,” Mr Charles HollofWay appearing in his great creation, Joe Flaxman, the old trainer.
