THE EXHIBITION TOURNAMENT. Per United Press Association. DUNEDIN, April 24. At a meeting' of delegates of N.Z. Bowling Association it was decided to hold the Exhibition tournament on 14th January, 1907. The resolutions recently adopted by tho executive wore passed after considerable- discussion. These provide for the tournament being managed by tho N.Z. Association, with a subcommittee from the northern association, and delegates were appointed to confer with delegates from the northern association and the Canterbury centre to arrange details. The delegates suggested that the programme should provide for ' rink matches ; competitors to bo divided into eight sections of eight rinks, and each rink in a section to play every other rink in that sect ion ; doubles and singles to be played on the sudden death principle and, if time permit, consolation doubles to be played ; the Association to issue invitations to howlers generally throughout Australasia : the Canterbury centre to be asked to name any special persons or- clubs to be invited.
