Mr llossor stated that he was pleased to see that the letterpress machinists were .sharing in the wave of conciliation passing over the northern industrial district. A conference between the parties had resulted in cgreement upon all points, excepting; wages, A further conference on Saturday would probably end in a complete agreement, which the Court would be asked to accept as an iiward. Mr Urosvuiror stated that the book binders were prevented from settling their dispute owing to a small difference with their employers. Mr .Justice Chapman suggested thai ii the difference was only a small one the parties might consult the chairman of the Conciliation Board.
