Deporting Kanakas.

Per United Press Association. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. BRISBANE, March 23. The Oovernment has appointed a Royal Commission to report on the deportation of Kanakas and the supply of labour for the sugar plantations. The Premier states that there are six thousand Kanakas in the State, and, this year, they will be unable to obtain employment. If sent back to the islands in a body, probably a famine would result(Another dilliculty is that returned Kanakas are usually butchered by their own people).
