Czerny.
The amusement-loving public will ioaa-n with a good deal of satisfaction that Me William Anderson has completed arrangements for a season of two nights at the Zcalamlia Hall, commencing Friday next, willi the Prince of Brest idigitatours— Czerny. Czerny, who is appearing in Australasia for the first time, is far and away above the ordinary conjuror. 11« dispenses entirely with such adventitious aids as billiard 'halls and silk handkerchiefs. In his magic lie strikes as original a note as MasVfeleyne and Cook have ever done at their best, and, whilst producing weird and wonderful effects with more than a soupcon of Oriental deviltry in them, never ceases to he Ine refined, cultured and brilliant entertainer. He appeals alike to young and old, and those who have seen him once are unable to resist the temptation to see tom again and again. He has created an entirely new and fascinating school of music, us inexplicable in its illusionary sensations as the most ma rvellous of those ret canted by Eastern •travellers. Czerny must he seen to -be believed. The box plan is open at the Dresden.
