Received Gth, 9.50 p.m. Professor Behring, the German Government’s delegate to the Tuberculosis Congress, claims to have discovered a cure for consumption which is neither a serum nor vaccine matter. The remedy is preventiive and curative. He. intends ’to reserve the secret for a certain period but promises a statement to the congress on Saturday. Ho is willing to explain his methods, and leaves the profession to apply the cure. He makes a full disclosure next August.
