For United Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 4. The statement for the 18th week of tlie egg-laying competition of the Utility Club shows that 894 eggs were laid, making the total 8644 to date. Ilie best day’s laying since the competition began' was on September 3, when 139 eggs were laid.
