Zealandia Hall
To-night West’s Pictures and the Breseians Orchestra and Singers will make their first appearance in Invercargill. More than ordinary interest has been aroused by the announcements heralding the visit. Much is expected of them, and it is believed that these expectations will be more than realised. The opening programme, both pictorially and musically, indicates a performance of a nigh and entertaining order, arid a largo house should assemble to greet the newcomers on their first appearance amongst us. The fact that the management requests intending patrons to be in good time, for the performance will commence sharp at 8 p.m., with ' the National Anthem, rendered by tho Brescian coterie ,of vocalists and instrumentalists, in conjunction with a series of kinematograms representing recent public appearances of their Majesties tho King and Queen. The .programme also shows that there are to be no waits or intervals —not a moment is lost from start to finish, and it is brimful of novel and ingenious items. The box plan is at the Dresden Music Warehouse, and day sale tickets can also be purchased there.
