A trial of the new Benicia disc plough was conducted by. Mr Andrews, travelling expert of Messrs Morrow, Passett and Co., on Mr Jno. "Arnold’s farm at Cambridge. The way the four horses worked the plough in stubble and couch grass was most surprising, turning the three furrows efuite easily, the draught being albout the same as a double-furrow, mouldboard plough. The disc pulverises the land to such an extent that there is no need for a disc harrow, thereby saving much time and labour.
