There is a slump in cotton in New York. The price is the lowest for three year9. One firm reports a crop of 12$ million bales. Farmers in Georgia burnt a quantity oi cotton, and are trying to induce others to destroy the surplus crop. The Porte has conceded tho Powers' demands for additional gendarmerie officers in Macedonia.
