Dear Sirs,— l wish to advise you that last year your Mr Taylor advised me to sow " BUTTON'S PURPLE TOP MAMMOTH" (or lamb feed instead of RAPE, and I sowed in the middle of November 10 acre3 with Purple Top Mammoth Seed (which I obtained from you) in broad cast drill with two cwt Of artificial manure to the acre. It was the very finest crop I have ever hod or seeii and for feeding I never saw the like. The tops alone are equal to a good crop of Rape, and after the turnips were broken by the lambs the field was just one white sheet Befor Harvest I puo on 293 lambs and since then I put on 40 old ewes, and on 2nd May I put on 68 ewes and one ram and they have not yet eaten more than the half of the 16 acres, I have always found that'Sutton's Seeds were most reliable and good and I consider any small extra coat is well spent money. It only amounts to a few shillings per annum and it is a great thing for a farmer to be sure that the seed he sows is the best he can get. — Yours faithfully, (Signed) THOMAS HODGKINSON, a Wilson's Orosain g "IVEL" MOTOR. Mr McNAB has kindly consented to Exhibit h's AGRICULTURAL MOTOR at the Invercargill Show on 13th and 14th instant, Particulars and Catalogues from ! TOTHILL LIMITED, LOOAL AGENIS
