The Projected Exhibition
3y Teiegrapli. . From Our - Own C6rrespondont r DUNEDIN, N0v.;25. The Premier suggests 16th December, 1906 (Canterbury's anniverßary day) for the" opening of ihe International Exhibition in Bagloy lark, Ohristchurch. To a representative "of the Star he said the Government would very probably instruct /Mr Donne to go from America to Britain Vo interview the Tiodrd ol Trade, Chambera of Commerce, and manufacturers generally with a view to securing their co-operation and ; help in making the exhibition a success, Mr D6nne would also' use his endeavours with exhibitors at St. Louis to secure their exhibits and, if possible, their attendance. His Excellency the Governor would probably, later on, be advised to ask the Imperial authorities to allow the Queen's Jubilee presents for exhibition in 'Netw Zealand. Having allow-;, ed them to go to America he thoughti the authorities 'could hardly refuse them for exhibition in^tho first selfgoverning colony that has flaked for them, provided they were duly safeguarded. The Agent-General would also be communicated' with on tho subject. . . ■; . . \
