Received 26th, 1.01 a.m. In the Federal House Mr OMalley (Tasmania) created amusement by giving notice of a motion that whereas titles and armorial bearings are subversive of equality ami the rights of man, and in order to discourage their vainglorious use in tho Commonwealth, an annual license fee be imposed. The proposed scale of fees ranges from £70 for a Duke or Duchess to 2s '6d for a title of " Honourable," with one to two guineas for armorial bearings.
