The Japahese have repaired the Russian drydock at Damy and are refitting their destroyers there. Japanese transports sent some o|fflcers and mew to inspect the Novik at Korsohovsk, but the Russian firo compelled thorn to withdraw. General Liapounow, Governor ol Saghalien, telegraphed to the Czar that exaanination snowed that the Japanese had placed mines in different parts bf tho Novik with! some electrical conductors cotanectedl The Russians* removed th© conductors from nine mines.
