» " '■ '" On Friday evening members arid supporters of this Club held asocial gathering in connection with tho annual presentations. Mr A. Mcßobio presided. Tho senior batting average Was again won by C.Kane, averge 29 runs per innings, and ho was. presented with a first-class bat, donated by Mr N. J. Keane. The trophy for best field in the. senior eleven was presented to H. J. Murphy ; tho president's bat for batting in the juniors was awarded to A. Walker ; average 26 runs. The best junior field, Alex. Derbie, was presented with a silver modal, tho gift of Mr G. A. Hall. After the presentations had been made a pleasant time was spent in speech and song, and the meeting terminated with votes of thanks to the donors of trophies, and to tho chairman for presiding.
