Sir.— l notice by the telegrams in your paper thin morning that a majority of the local clmrches at Thames had passed resolutions against tho Licensing Hill a.s being against tho interests of Christianity, sobriety, righteousness and common brotherhood. Now, ciui these people be sincere ? 1 understand the great objection to the Licensing Bill is the no-license no grog clause. If it is against the interests of Christianity, sobriety, <•«<• , to prevent people in a r.olieense district from having a bottle of !i(|uor in their house, would it not be netter to have licensed premises '?
