Tho invercargill Stock Agents report having held their fortnightly sale this diay iv. the junction yards, when ar. average yarding of fat stock, came forward, store cattle finding ready sale among farmers, who were the principal buyers. Pat Cattle— loU yarded. CJood quality beef was from Ulis to 22s (>d per lOOIu. Unfinished ,sorts had scant attention from' butchers. Host bullocks, £11 12s 0d to £9 7s Od ; g_ood, £V to £8 3.0s ; cows, JUB us to ill ; speyed heiforg, £8 5» to KG ss.
Fat Sheep.— 9oo Penned. X'riceK for good and lirst quality were in advunt'is oi last sales' rates by from 12s to 3s t>ei" head ; a pen of wethers from Mr Beaven reaching 2fjs, others 28s 'id to 20s 3d, a few pens of nicely finished shorn wgthora 'JO* 7<l to 38s Od. Kvvcs 2 ls 8d to Ills; maiden ewes and good wethers 22s -Hi to 17s i)d.
