NKW PLYMOUTH . Sept. 1. In tho Auckland v. Taranaki match to-day each aide scored a penalty goal in tho first spell, and in the second Turuuaki scored a try. thus winning by G to 3. At times the play was so rough hy SOUie Of tho visitors that it evoked loud expressions of disapproval. But for over-oagernoss Taranaki's score should have been greater.
