The average v>co to-day U>r Cnnterhurv brands is 4*d per lb; Dunedin, Southland and W M.E. Co., 4(1 ; other North Island brands. 3»d ; Kiver Plate .'.id. The lamb market is stea.lv ni last quotation.. There has been no alteration iv the' beef market since last week. Transactions in bytter are very limited : the average price of choicest. N Z is nominally 93s per cwt. Ihe cheese market' is dull ; average price ol finest K'A to-day is 40s (50s .•) pci CWt ; Cailalliajl, 4TS to ■>•*_. Ihe hemp market is steady and prices wen maintained. There has been no a-lteration in the cocksfoot seed market since last week.
