Three feet si* inches of water was pumped out of the s.s. Niwara today, and the vessel steamed, out to the anchorage. An examination -to ascertain the extent of the v damage will be mado as soon as the weather moderates. ,It is anticipated that the steamer will shortly be able^to leave for Auckland to go into dock The cargo of the lighter Queen is being washed, ashore. '
