Messrs J. A. Mitchell and -Co. report : —wo had a 'large entry on Saturday, 63 horses being entered, including a number of useful animals. On account of Mv George Potersosn, contractor, wo sold seven draughts at, £43, £42 10s, £39 10s, £38, £34 10s, and two aged geldings at £17 and £18 respectively ; on account other vendors, draughts up to £46, at which price v, nice yyr-old mare changed hands ; others, £37 to £43 ; aged useful sorts, £2.5 to £35 ; old and slid, hot much enquired for. Very few good hacks awl light harness horses ottering. One upstanding stylish, tree-stepping gelding brought £25 15s }' others, £12 to £1 6 for useful animals ; ordinary and aged, £7 to £11 ; small and weedy, to £3.
