A Select Committee of the Transvaal Legislative Council, appointed to deal with the diamond mine laws, disagreed, a majority rccc'iirmen'.Ung that an owner should receive all undivided 25 per c^nt. share in a mine, the remainder going to the State. The minority recommends that an owner receive 40 per cent. The, committee unanimously recommend that an owner should work the whole mine.
