A terrible mining disaster is reported from Wyoming (U.S.) Whilea large body of men were at work in the Union Pacific mine, at Hanna, an explosion occurred and fired the mine. So far as is known 175 menwere killed. Twenty-five bodies have been recovered, most ol them in a badly mutilated condition. Despite the suffocating smoke some of the miners were rescued alive, but in a prostrate condition.
