NATIONALIST AMENDMENTS. Per United Press Association. Hy Electric Telegraph.— Copyright. LONDON, June 3<i. Progress with the Irish Lamd Bill is slow. Mr VVyndham refused to discuss Mr O'ttonncli's suggestion that peasants should be allotted live acres each, though he promised to consider their position. Mr Win. O'Brien moved tt- empower the Commissioners to arrange for the restoration of evicted tenants. Colonel Sunnderson declared that hopeless social confusion would result from thi- attempt to restore 40,000 persons. Mr Wyndham declined to give a. pre-emptory direction to the Commissioners and allowed them wide discretion in regard tc- reinstating and providing capital to restock. The amendment was withdrawn.
