Following are the weather reports from N.Z. stations at 5 p.m. . — Manukau Heads—N.E., fresh ; bar. 30.36 ; ther. 66 ; fine, sea smooth. New Plymouth—Calm, bar. 30.27 : ther. 60 ; fine, sea smooth. Castlepoint—N.N.E., light ; bar. . 30.25 ; ther. 58 ; fine, sea moderate. Wellington—N, breeze ; bar. 30.22 : Westport—N.N.E., light ; bar. ther. ,60.; fine. 30.17 ; ther. 59 ; hazy, slight swell. Kaikoura—S:E, light : bar. 30.13 ; ther. 56 ; fine, sea smooth. Oainaru —N.E, light; bar. 30.0. ; ther. 54 ; cloudy, sea moderate. Bluff—N., light, 30.03 ; ther. o<3 ; drizzling. Moderate to strong winds are to be expected from between north-east and north and west in all parts of the country, with falling barometer. Low pressure from tlfe west is due at the meridian of South Cape on the 3rd inst.
