Further developments have taken place in regard to the Moat Farm mystery, leuJving- little doubt of foul play. A bullet has been extracted from Camille Holland's head. The corpse was buried in the side of the Moat ditch. the surface above appearing thus undisturbed.
An oflicial statement shows that 15(5 districts and 109 towns in India are infected with plague, from which the weekly mortality is thirty thousand.
The Clyde engineers have voted in favour of a strike.
The Bishop of London, addressing the Diocesan Conference, scathingly condemned the Hey. 11. M. Evans, formerly vicar of St. Michael's. Shorcditch, who recently joined the Konian Church, for surreptitiously introducing forbidden services into St. Michael's and deceiving the bishop.
Nonconformist bodies have obtained counsels' opinion in loloroncc to tho Education Dill, tho t'UVct of which is that passive resistance to the education rate will render them liable to criminal and civil proceedings.
