♦ The following is a summary of the weather for the month : — Rain fell on 26 days, though -on «oiue of them it was only the slightest shower. The total was 3.045 inches, ptid tlie heaviest day's fall was 1.030 inches, on the 20th. The wind blew from tha S,E. on 2 days, the N.-E. on 7, the N.W. on 6, mid the S.W. on 15. days. Its average velocity was 3.3. on a scale on which 10 represents the force of a gal©. , The mean temperature was MO degrees, tho maximum being 77 deg. on the 29th, and the lowest in the shade being 30 degrees on the 18th and 25th. The total of sunshine was 116 hours 24 minutes, giving an average of 4 hours 23 minutes per day. The longest day's sunshine was 9 hours 22 minutes on tho 9th.
