. The meeting was attended by ten householders. Mr Andrew Small was chainm-an. The balance-sheet ehowed the income as £48 16s Id, expenditure £41 13s Id, leaving a balance of £7 3s. hut against that~ tenders were accepted for works amounting to £10 7s Od, which was subsidised by the Board to tho extent of £5. £2 10s 2d voted by the late Coronation Cowmittee towards the erection of a flagstaff had not yet been paid over but ft tender for the work had been accepted. The report spoke favourably of the state, of -school affairs generally and complimented the teaching staff Only five persons would accept nomination to the "committee, viz. r Messrs A. Small (chairman), D. Fraser 'secretary), J. , Bobertson, H l . S. McMath, and Dr Todd. -
