Sydney 28— W. 30.20, fine. Following are the weather reports from N.Z. stations at 5 p.m. . —
Manakau Heads— E. fresh, bar 30.46 ; ther 64 ; gloomy, sea smooth.
New Plymouth— Calm, bar, 30.42 ther. 63 ; overcast, soa smooth.
Castlepoint— N.N.W., light; bar 30.37 ; ther. 59 ; fine moderate swell.
Wellington— N. fresh, bar 30.40 ; ther. 57, fine, sea considerable.
Kaikoura— N.E., light, bar 30.23 ; ther. 58 ; fine, sea smooth.
Oainaru— N.E., light, bar 30.10 ther. 5.9 ; overcast, sea smooth.
Bluff— West, light, bar 30.10 ; thcr 54 ; fine.
Strong to moderate easterly winds northward of Napier and New Plymouth and from between north oast and north and west elsewhere with falling barometer everywhere.
