Andrew Moore, farmer, has been sentenced to be hanged for shooting tho Rev. William Bell, Protestant rector at Kilmecn, County Cork. The prisoner burned a barn, cremating Bell's body, but ineffectually concealed the murder. Moore was jealous of Bell's attentions to his wife. ,
Tho late J. A. Ewen's (Sargood, Son, amd Ewen) estate (in England ?) amounts to £11,200.
Robert Davies, of Menai Bridge, has given the Welsh Calvanistic Methodist Missionary Society £150,000 to extend its operations to Assam.
