J. A. Mitchell and Co. report of their weekly sale in the Prince of Wales yards on Saturday as follows :_ We had again a largo entry, iifty-live horses coming forward. Of those only a small proportion cuiild he called better than >rdiiury, the majority being medium !i; oks and indifferent draughts. Tor '.v o cr three of the best in the "lraught class there was spirited competition, but for old inferior sorts there was poetically no sale, and a ffoorl number of this class had to go home m so!d. .V nice three-year-old draught colt brought. £43 10s ; another i-42 : an eight-year-old draught mare, £3fi ; other aged, active sorts, £20 'o .L3O; old and stiff down to £5. iTacks and light harness horses, £15 io .I*2o, ror best sorts ; ordinary, £10 to £14 ; small tfnd weedy, £4 to £3.
