Amongst the authorised expenditures of Government votes, published in the proceedings of tho lust meeting nl the Wullnce County Council, appeared the sum of £40 for the Hedilon Hush school road. Knowing that a sum of- £100 was voted lust session and placed on

the estimates for this work, one naturally wonders why the amount authorised should be less than half of the vote. No doubt our member will attend to this

matter, and urge the Government to authorise the expenditure of the balance with as little delay as possible.
