CAPETOWN, Jan. 20
Johannesburg is depressed, fearing a solution of the labour Question will bo delayed for years.
The South African News admits that nothing can /be said on behalf of Lynch, the traitor, and Irish-Canadians do not sympathise with him. Owing to the spread of plague, thousands of native servants and labourers are leaving Durban. It is expected the '/.ululand drifts will be closed.
Received 27th. 10.35 p.m. Forty-two cases of plague have toeen reported in Durban, 27 being fatal.
