Tin, spot, £ll5 per ton, three months’, £ll5 7s 6d. Lead imports, 16,583 tons; Australian shipments, 4802 ; experts, 3818. AGENT-GENERAL’S MESSAGE. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, Dec. 15. The Agent-General’s cablegram, dated London, 13th December:—“ The stock of mutton is light, and firmly held in a few hands. Very little business is doing, and prices are nominal. The market is very uncertain ; Canterbury 5Jd, other North Island mutton sd, River Plate 4jd. There is a batter demand for lamb. Canterbury brand 5§ 1. Beef is dull. Stocks of New Zealand on hand are light; hinds, 5d ; fores, 4d. Butter is steady at 114 s per cwt. Cheese is very firm at 50- per cwt. Hemp is steady, ‘good fair Wellington.’spot, £32 ; JanuaryMarch shipments, £28.”
