At the Otahuhu Trotting Club’s spring meeting, second day, the weather was fine and the attendance fair. The totalisator receipts for the day were £1613. Following are the results :— Trial Trot Handicap, miles—Cora Victor (13 secs) 1, K.O. (7 secs) 2, Durbar 3. Scratched : Belladona. Won easily. Cora Victor won but was disqualified on a protest entered on the ground of inconsistent running. An appeal was lodged against the decision and the machine investments with-' held pending the result. Time—4 min. 16 secs. The dividend on Cora Victor will be £4 2s and on K.O. £2 4s.

Suburban Trot, 2 miles—Bliss Irvington (28 secs) 1, Heiress (18 secs) 2, Viscount (9 secs) 3. Scratched: K.O. and Eric. Won by 40 yards. Time—s min. 29 secs. Dividend, £7 ss.
