In the Chamber an interpellation on behalf of the Nationalists, accused Valle, Minister of Justice, of dismissing the Magistrate, Lemercier, for fear of the arrest of the Humberts, notorious swindlers. Valle retorted that Frederick Humbert was a Boulangist. Content, a Socialist, shouted “ lie.” Valle thereupon left the Tribune. Yveton, a Nationalist, insulted by Valle’s gesture, was about to assault him, and this caused the Nationalists and Radicals to leave their seats. A scrimmage followed in front of the Tribune, characterised by much hustling tnd shouting. The sitting was suspended, and later the Chamber expelled Constant and Yveton. Yveton has sent bis seconds to Valle.
