AN OFFER FROM TRANSVAAL. United Press Association By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, Oct. 31. A number of Boer commandants and British officers in Johannesburg have offered through Lord Milner the services of an expedition against the mad mullah, proposing that 500 picked Boers and 500 picked British should be sent. Great enthusiasm is manifested. Tho necessity for carrying a live days’ water supply between the oases is likely to prevent the acceptance of Indian offers.
