LETTER CARRIERS' DELIVER V".
Deliveries by Letter Carriers are made daily Town delivery at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Suburban delivery at 9 a.m. SIBILS WILL CLOSE AS FOLLOWS:
WEDNESDAY, 4TH JUNK
For Australian States (except Tasmania) per s.s. Monowai, via Wellington, at 3.30 p.m. Money Orders and Registered Letters U 2.30 p.m. Parcels for New South Wales and Queensland only, at 3.15 p.m. Mail due in Sydney on 1 lth June Thursday; oth Junk
For Cromarty and Te Oneroa, per s.s, Invercargill, at 11 a.m.
Note — Mails close at Auckland for Tonga, Samoa and Fiji on 3rd June ; for Raiatonga; Tahiti and Pentnyn Islands on 17th June ; from Melbourne for Natal and Capetown on 4th June; for Natal and Capetown on 25th June. Note— Tuesday, 3rd Juno, Prince of Wales Birthday, being a Post Office holiday, mails advertised for despatch on that day will be closed at 8 pm. on Monday, 2nd June The town and suburban receivers will be cleared at 7 p.m. on 2nd There will be no delivery by letter carriers on 3rd, but instead a special delivery of correspnn deuce will be made over tho counter of the Post Office on Monday, 2nd, between the hours of 7 and Spm. The Telegraph- Office will be open from 9 a.m. to - 4 p.m., and from 7 p.m. till midnight. The Telephone Exchange will be open as usual. J. W. WILKIN, Chief Postmaster.
