Deliveries by Letter Carriers are made daily Town delivery at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Suburban . at 9 a.m. MAILS WIL. CLOSE AS FOLLOWS:

Warrimoo, at 2.45 p.m. Parccis for Australian States at 1.45 p.m. Money Orders and Registered Letters at 1.45 p.m. The English mail of this despatch will be due in London on 15th July.
For the United States of America Canada, West Indies, Central America, West Coast of South America, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe via San Francisco (due in London on oth July) also, Japan, "Samoa, and Hawaiian Islands, at 8 p.m. Money Orders at 4 p.m. and Registered ' Letters at 5 p.m. For Cromarty and Te Oneroa, West Coast Sounds and Bays, per s.s. Hinemoa about Monday, 2nd June Wednesday, 4th June
For Australian States (except Tasmania) per s.s. Monowai, via Wellington, at 3.30 p.m. Money Orders and Registered Letters at 2.30 p.m. Parcels for New South Wales and Queensland only, at 3.15 p.m. Mail due in Sydney on 11th June
NOTE— Mails close at Auckland for Tonga, Samoa and Fiji on 3rd June ; for Ratatonga, Tahiti and Penhryn Islands on 17th June ; from Melbourne for Natal and Capetown on 4th June; for Natal and Capetown on 25th June : for Chatham Islands, at Lyttelton, on 31st inst., at 8 p.m. Note — Tuesday, 3rd June, Prince of Wales Birthday, being a Post Office holiday, mails advertised for despatch on that day will be closed at 8 p m. on Monday, 2nd June The town and suburban receivers will be cleared at 7 p.m. on 2nd There will be no delivery by letter carriers on 3rd, but instead a special delivery of correspondence will be made over the counter of the Post Office on Monday, 2nd, between the hours of 7 and 8 pm. The Telegraph Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and from 7 p.m. till midnight. The Telephone Exchange will be open as usual. J. W. WILKIN, Chief Postmaster.
