Otago Exchange : First Chance 8s 9d, Gold King os (3d. i Auckland, March 13. The total yield from fche Auckland gold fields for the past three weeks is £58,3*21. The Baden -Powell G. M. Co., which is being formed to work a reef near Newton's Beach, Stewart Island, is advertised this morning. Some years ago a considerable j amount of gold was obtained in this locality, ! and the promoters believe that the source o£ ! this was a eystem of reefs of which their j claim is a part, Messrß Carswell 'and Co. arc thu local brokers. j
