Bradford tops are •very firm in anticipation of an advance at the London sales. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is equal to 4,115,000 quarters and for the Continent 1,135,000 quarters. A Sydney cargo of wheat sold at 29s 3d per quarter. Bank shares and stocks : Union Bank of Australia, £38 ; Bank of New Zealand, _tlol j _**T.2_l_ and M.A. Co.'s debentures, £87. Others unchanged.
