Labour dispossessed a Ministerialist at Maryborough ; the Government also losing seats at Bowen and Ipswich, but these ■were compensated for by victories at Enoggera and South Brisbane. The state of parties so far is— Government 42, Labour 24, Independent 6. ADELAIDE, March 12. Mary Schippan, charged with the murder of her sister Bertha, by cutting her throat at her parents' residence at Towitta, was found " not guilty."
