Delicate, Fretful, and Nervous.
WE TRIED VARIOUS PATENT MEDICINES, BUT WITH NO GOOD RESULT UNTIL WE GAVE HIM SCOTrS EMULSION. One of the worst things you can do when your children are delicate and do not thrive is to djQiSe them with secret nostrums containing'"powerful drugs. If you do not know what your child is taking, and are not reasonably certain about the results, the only right course to pursue is to consult the family doctor. More harm than good often cornea to children through taking medicines containing powerful drug 9. One of the strongest things about Scott's Emulsion to commend it to the public ib the fact that it is not a secret nostrum. When you give Scott's Emulsion to your children, you know that they are taking cod-liver oil, hypophosphites, and glycerine, in a form approved of by the whole medical profession. Here is a case where various patent medicines were tried for a little boy who was delicate and subject to bronchitis. His mother writes : —
"Depot, Canterbury, England, "April 24 th, 1899. "Dear Sirs,— Our little boy, who was born in India, was always very delicate, fretful and nervous, and subject to bronchitis. In fact, several people told us we should never rear him. We tried various patent medicines, but with no good result, until we gave him Scott's Emulsion, which from the beginning seemed to do him good. He is now a fine, sturdy boy, of three years, and is happy and contented. We always keep Scott's Emulsion in the house, and I cannot speak too highly of it, and what it has done for our little son. "(Signed) Margaret Scott, "2lst E.I. Lancers." The parents who see their children get well and strong by taking Scott'B Emulsion are glad to write about it, so that others may profit by their experience. Children universally love the taste of Scott's Emulsion, and the oil in this preparation is so perfectly emulsified that it is no tax upon digestion. Scott's Emulsion promotes the making of healthy flesh and strong bones, and quickly restores vitality and strength to the system. It may be relied upon in coughs, colds, bronchitis, and in nearly all the cases where children need more nourishment than they are getting from their ordinary food.
