Received 2b'tli, ' 10.41 p.m. Ten leaders captured since thu 15th inst. have been sentenced at Pretoria to permanent banishment. Botha, with a large force, has quitted the vicinity of Dej.igersdriit, and is encamped on the Transvaal side of N ; kandhi Hill. Received '27th, 1.2 a.m. Boer fid vices state that Beyers and Viljoen have joined Botha, who has now a force of 5000. Lieut, (irnnt, of the 12th Lancers, entering Scheepcrs' kagcr alone on the night oi the 2."kd, summoned the Boers to surrender. Three complied with Grant's demand, he threw their rilles into the river, and revolveml two of the enemy. In tho confusion he tired at random, wonnding his own men. Complaints arc made of short supplies of food suitfs at Rloemfontein.
