Tho Dresden Piano Co. bog to announce that they have received from John Broadwood and Sons, of Lonioti, a photograph of tho magnificent Steel Barless Grand Piano, forte recently manufactured by that famous firm for Her Majesty the Queen at a coat of 700 guineas. 2he photograph of this marvellous instrument will shortly be on view at the Inrercargill branch of the Dresden Piano Co., in Esk street, who are sole N.Z. agents for the historic house of Broadwood ; and will doubtless be inspected by our lnvercargill citizens with much interest. The instrument alluded to must rank as one of the very finest specimens of the pianoforte makers art in existence — perhaps the most perfect instrument in the world. At a meeting of West Coast sawmillers a resolution was passed declaring the provisions of the Factory Bill now before the House detrimental to their interest, and agreeing to bring al! possible pressure to have the measure amended.
