The series of contests in tho Invitation Scratch Race for £20, resulted in (;. Sutherland winning, with A. R. Barker second. V. C. Williams (100 yards) won the Half Mile Handicap in 60 sees., and E, A. Wall (,"50 yards) the Mile Handicap in 1 mm. :\1 4-dths soos. S. Boyd (190 yards) won the Canterbury Amateur Wheel Raoo of two miles in 4 mm. 51 2-sth.i sees., and R. Cftnncll (i"> yards) won the two miles Second Class Handicap.
