The Revs. Green and Griffiths and families, Brown and Miss (Jreig were rescued at Paotingfu after five months' privations. They were thrice captured by Boxt-rs. The Allies are court-martiiLlling this Paotingfu Treasurer for thrice ordering the Green family to be tortured. A placard, exhibited at Stekhas, offers 300 dollars for the head of Dr Hager, of the American China Mission, and 300 dollars each for Wesleyan, Baptist, and Presbyterian missionaries. Pirates looted a British passenger steamer lying at Macao, Hong Kong, aban- , cloning her off Borgu. Four of the Pirates were indentified and arrested.
